The 15kg Digital Kitchen Scale solves a small daily problem properly, which is the only thing a kitchen item needs to do. A contemporary minimalist profile keeps it discreet in use and easy to live with. In short: a contemporary minimalist kitchen essential suited to kitchen, baking and meal prep. Repeat use is the test for an item like this, and it is specified to pass it.
In daily use it lives on the worktop or slides into a drawer between jobs, and the flat platform wipes clean in seconds. Day to day, the useful parts are the USB-rechargeable battery, so there are no coin cells to hunt for, and precision weighing up to 15kg. Dimensions and capacity are listed in the specification below. It is sized for real use rather than for the photograph, which is the difference between something you keep and something you replace. Everything you need is in the box, so it goes into the routine the day it arrives.
Nothing here is decorative at the expense of function: it is made to be used, wiped down and used again. Part of the Deluxe Collective range, it is chosen to sit alongside the rest of the collection without clashing. Wipe the platform rather than immersing the unit, since the electronics are not designed to be submerged.
