The Huangdong Wall Lamp is wall lighting treated as a design detail rather than an afterthought. Built from travertine stone, it leans wabi-sabi without tipping into trend. Solid wood is used where the piece is handled most, which is where a cheaper finish would show first. In short: a wabi-sabi, travertine stone, solid wood wall light suited to bedroom, hallway and living room.
It works in a hallway, and pairs well with a second unit when a space needs symmetry. Practical details carry the rest, starting with the adjustable head or arm. Dimensions, colour and fitting options are listed in the specification below. Proportion matters more than ornament here, so the wall light is sized to read as deliberate in a small space and still hold its own in a large one.
Everything is assembled to be lived with, not just looked at, and the surface is finished to take everyday handling. Like the rest of the Deluxe Collective range, it is picked for pieces that still look right in three years. Electrical installation should follow local wiring regulations, and mains-wired fixtures are best fitted by a qualified electrician. The finish is consistent across the range, which makes it straightforward to repeat the same look in more than one space.
