The KindlePro Carbon Steel Log Splitter is built for the unglamorous job of preparing kindling safely and repeatedly. The palette stays neutral and the proportions stay restrained, which is what makes the contemporary minimalist look hold up year after year. Brushed metal is used where the piece is handled most, which is where a cheaper finish would show first. In short: a contemporary minimalist, solid wood, brushed metal garden tool suited to garden and fireside.
Set it on a firm, level base and the same job gets done the same way every time. Practical details carry the rest, starting with the water-resistant build. Dimensions and capacity are listed in the specification below. It is sized for real use rather than for the photograph, which is the difference between something you keep and something you replace.
Nothing here is decorative at the expense of function: it is made to be used, washed and used again. Part of the Deluxe Collective range, it is chosen to sit alongside the rest of the collection without clashing. Wear eye protection and sturdy gloves, keep hands clear of the blade, and keep children and pets away from the working area. Cleaning is quick, and nothing about the construction traps residue in awkward corners.
