Low ceilings and busy hallways need light that disappears into the architecture, which is what the Modern Industrial Cage Ceiling Light is built to do. Hand-finished glass and an industrial profile give it a weight and quietness that cheaper pieces miss. Brushed metal is used where the piece is handled most, which is where a cheaper finish would show first. In short: an industrial, hand-finished glass, brushed metal ceiling light suited to bedroom, hallway and living room.
Positioned above a landing, it layers with your existing lighting instead of competing with it. Unpacking takes a minute and nothing beyond basic household tools is needed. Proportion matters more than ornament here, so the ceiling light is sized to read as deliberate in a small space and still hold its own in a large one.
It is put together to be serviced rather than replaced, with fixings that stay tight and a finish that cleans up with a dry cloth. Like the rest of the Deluxe Collective range, it is picked for pieces that still look right in three years. Electrical installation should follow local wiring regulations, and mains-wired fixtures are best fitted by a qualified electrician. The finish is consistent across the range, which makes it straightforward to repeat the same look in more than one space.
