The Modern Metal Wall Clock takes a wall clock seriously as wall decor that happens to tell the time. Solid wood and an industrial profile give it a weight and quietness that cheaper pieces miss. Brushed metal is used where the piece is handled most, which is where a cheaper finish would show first. In short: an industrial, solid wood, brushed metal wall clock suited to kitchen, living room and office. Nothing about it is fussy to live with: it cleans easily, it does not mark readily, and it does not need rearranging around.
It works in a home office and keeps looking right through daily use. Practical details carry the rest, starting with the silent quartz movement. Dimensions, colour and fitting options are listed in the specification below. Proportion matters more than ornament here, so the wall clock is sized to read as deliberate in a small space and still hold its own in a large one.
Everything is assembled to be lived with, not just looked at, and the surface is finished to take everyday handling. Like the rest of the Deluxe Collective range, it is picked for pieces that still look right in three years. The finish is consistent across the range, which makes it straightforward to repeat the same look in more than one space.
