Modern Nordic Glass Ball Ceiling & Pendant Light | Wood Finish | Dining Room

Hung low over a table or stepped down a stairwell, the Modern Nordic Glass Ball Ceiling & Pendant Light turns a single fixture into the focal point of the room. Built from solid wood, it leans Scandinavian without tipping into trend. Hand-finished glass is used where the piece is handled most, which is where a cheaper finish would show first. In short: a Scandinavian, solid wood, hand-finished glass pendant light suited to dining room, kitchen island and hallway.

Install it above a kitchen island and the light lands where you want it rather than spilling across the whole space. Wipe down with a soft, dry cloth and avoid solvent cleaners to keep the finish intact. Proportion matters more than ornament here, so the pendant light is sized to read as deliberate in a small space and still hold its own in a large one.

The fittings are solid rather than decorative, and the surface resists the marks that everyday handling leaves behind. Like the rest of the Deluxe Collective range, it is picked for pieces that still look right in three years. Electrical installation should follow local wiring regulations, and mains-wired fixtures are best fitted by a qualified electrician. The finish is consistent across the range, which makes it straightforward to repeat the same look in more than one space.
