Description
Low ceilings and busy hallways need light that disappears into the architecture, which is what the Ailse Ceiling Lamp is built to do. The palette stays neutral and the proportions stay restrained, which is what makes the contemporary minimalist look hold up year after year. Hand-finished glass is used where the piece is handled most, which is where a cheaper finish would show first. In short: a contemporary minimalist, solid wood, hand-finished glass ceiling light suited to bedroom, hallway and living room.
It works in a hallway, and pairs well with a second unit when a space needs symmetry. Practical details carry the rest, starting with the LED light source. Dimensions, colour and fitting options are listed in the specification below. Proportion matters more than ornament here, so the ceiling light is sized to read as deliberate in a small space and still hold its own in a large one.
The fittings are solid rather than decorative, and the surface resists the marks that everyday handling leaves behind. Like the rest of the Deluxe Collective range, it is picked for pieces that still look right in three years. Electrical installation should follow local wiring regulations, and mains-wired fixtures are best fitted by a qualified electrician.

Built For Low Ceilings
The Ailse mounts flush enough to clear doorways and hallway traffic without anyone ducking. It lights the space while staying part of the ceiling line.
Wood That Warms The Light
Natural wood surrounds the glass diffuser, so the beam picks up a soft honey tone instead of a cold white edge. Deluxe Collective chose the grain to stay visible under the glow.
Quiet In Every Room
Neutral tones and restrained proportions let it sit over a bedside, a landing or a short hallway. Nothing about it competes with the furniture underneath.

Frequently Asked Questions
Where does the Ailse work best?
Bedrooms, hallways and landings with lower ceilings, where a hanging pendant would feel in the way. It spreads light evenly across a small to medium room.
How much ceiling clearance does it need?
Very little. The body sits close to the ceiling, so it stays well clear of door swings and head height in tight hallways.
What is it actually made from?
A natural wood frame with a hand-finished glass diffuser. Both are chosen so the piece still looks right years after install.
Is installation complicated?
It mounts to a standard ceiling box with the included bracket, so most installs take one person and a screwdriver. Any electrician will have it up in minutes.
How do I keep it clean?
Dust the glass with a dry microfibre cloth and wipe the wood with a barely damp one. Skip solvents and the finish stays as it arrived.
