This quarter zip sweater from Deluxe Collective carries a striking striped pattern, and a stripe does something a plain knit cannot: it gives the sweater graphic structure built into the yarn rather than printed on top, so the contrast never cracks or fades with washing.
A standing collar sits above the quarter zipper. Closed, the collar stands up around the neck for coverage on a chilly morning; opened, it falls into a relaxed V and the metal zipper shows as a casual detail. Ribbed cuffs finish the long sleeves and keep the edges holding shape.
The fabric is soft and comfortable, and a regular fit allows freedom of movement, which is why this works as an extra layer on cold days as readily as a standalone sweater. How to measure. Use a soft tape, keep it level and snug but not tight, and measure over your underwear rather than over clothes.
Bust or chest: around the fullest part, with the tape under the arms and flat across the back.
Waist: around the narrowest part of your natural waist, usually just above the navel.
Hip: around the fullest part of your hips and seat, roughly eight inches below the waist.
Inseam: from the crotch seam down the inside of the leg to the hem.
