Real Wood, Not Printed Grain
The beech body has genuine grain and a smooth sanded finish, so it feels like furniture in the hand rather than moulded plastic.
A Friendly Thing On The Shelf
The mushroom form is the reason this ends up in children's rooms and the reason adults keep it after the children have grown.
Light For Falling Asleep

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the wood solid or veneered?
It is made from beech, chosen for its tight pale grain and smooth finish, which is what gives the piece its warmth and weight.
Is it safe in a child's room?
The LED runs cool and the body has no sharp edges, so it is comfortable to have on a bedside shelf within reach.
How bright is the glow?
Deliberately low and warm, sized to orient a room in the dark rather than light it. It is a sleeping light, not a reading light.
What setting up does it need?
Charge or connect it and switch on. There is nothing to assemble, so it goes onto the shelf straight out of the box.
How do I look after the wood?
A dry cloth is all it needs. Keep water off the beech and the surface keeps its even colour and smooth feel for years.
