Description
The Reversible Outdoor Rug defines a zone underfoot, softens a hard floor and catches what comes in from outside. A contemporary minimalist profile keeps it discreet in use and easy to live with. In short: a contemporary minimalist mat suited to entryway, bathroom and kitchen. Nothing about it is fussy to live with: it cleans easily, it does not mark readily, and it does not need rearranging around.
It fits under a dining table without needing anything else rearranged around it. The specification is where it pulls ahead: water-resistant build, adjustable head or arm. Unpacking takes a minute and nothing beyond basic household tools is needed. Proportion matters more than ornament here, so the mat is sized to read as deliberate in a small space and still hold its own in a large one. If you are building a contemporary minimalist scheme, it is a safe anchor piece rather than a gamble.
Everything is assembled to be lived with, not just looked at, and the surface is finished to take everyday handling. Part of the Deluxe Collective range, it is chosen to sit alongside the rest of the collection without clashing. The finish is consistent across the range, which makes it straightforward to repeat the same look in more than one space.

Flip It And Start Again
Both faces are finished, so when one side has had a hard summer you turn it over. You effectively get two rugs in one.
Rain Runs Off It
The weave does not hold water the way an indoor rug does, so it dries quickly after a shower and never goes musty. It stays out all season.
Colours That Cope
Black and grey absorb the dust, pollen and leaf stains a patio collects, which pale rugs broadcast. Deluxe Collective picks outdoor colours for how they age.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are both sides the same design?
Both sides are fully finished with the pattern reversed, so flipping it gives a slightly different look as well as a fresh surface. Either face can go up.
Can it stay outside through rain?
Yes, the weave drains rather than soaking, and it dries quickly. Lift it after prolonged rain so the surface underneath can dry too.
What is it woven from?
A flat woven synthetic yarn chosen for water and UV resistance. There is no pile to hold damp or grit.
Can I use it indoors?
It works in a porch, a utility room or a conservatory where floors get wet. The flat weave is hard wearing rather than plush.
How do I clean it?
Sweep it, hose it down and let it dry flat in the sun. Mild soapy water lifts anything stubborn.
