Description
The Wilhelm Bauhaus Table Lamp brings light down from the ceiling to where you actually use it. Hand-finished glass and a Scandinavian profile give it a weight and quietness that cheaper pieces miss. Polished chrome is used where the piece is handled most, which is where a cheaper finish would show first. In short: a Scandinavian, hand-finished glass, polished chrome table lamp suited to bedside, desk and living room. Nothing about it is fussy to live with: it cleans easily, it does not mark readily, and it does not need rearranging around.
Positioned in a reading nook, it layers with your existing lighting instead of competing with it. Colour and finish options vary by variant, so check the selection above before ordering. Proportion matters more than ornament here, so the table lamp is sized to read as deliberate in a small space and still hold its own in a large one.
The fittings are solid rather than decorative, and the surface resists the marks that everyday handling leaves behind. Part of the Deluxe Collective range, it is chosen to sit alongside the rest of the collection without clashing. The finish is consistent across the range, which makes it straightforward to repeat the same look in more than one space.

Bauhaus Lines, Bedside Scale
A sphere on a cylinder: the whole lamp is two shapes doing exactly their job. It sits comfortably on a nightstand without crowding a book and a glass of water.
Hand Finished Glass
The globe is finished by hand so the surface diffuses light evenly rather than throwing a bright seam. You get a warm pool of light instead of a visible filament.
Chrome Where Hands Go
Polished chrome covers the base and the switch collar, the two places a lamp actually gets touched. Deluxe Collective specified it there because a thinner plated finish wears through first.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is this lamp best used for?
It is a bedside and console lamp built for warm, low level light in the evening. The output suits reading a few pages and winding down rather than lighting a whole room.
Will it fit a narrow nightstand?
The footprint is a compact round base, so it leaves room for a book, a phone and a glass. Measure the width of your table and keep a few centimetres clear of the edge so the base stays stable.
What materials are used?
A hand finished glass globe on a polished chrome body, a combination chosen so the lamp keeps a weighty designer feel rather than a hollow one. Both surfaces stay true toned over years of use.
Does it need assembling?
Fit the bulb, seat the globe and plug it in; there is no wiring to do. Use a warm white bulb at a modest wattage to get the soft glow the glass was designed for.
How should I clean the glass?
Let the bulb cool, lift the globe off and wipe it with a soft lint free cloth; put glass cleaner on the cloth rather than on the globe to keep streaks away. Buff the chrome dry so water spots never set.
