This flight jacket is fully lined, which is the thing that separates a jacket you wear in October from one that gives up by November. A plain, smooth fabric keeps the look clean, and the standing collar covers the neck without a scarf.
Elastic cuffs at the ends of the long sleeves and an elastic hem give you a comfortable seal at both ends, so warmth stays in rather than escaping at the wrists and waist. Two zip side pockets hold small items securely. The regular fit leaves room for a knit underneath and keeps the whole thing informal rather than tailored.

How to measure. Use a soft tape, keep it level and snug but not tight, and measure over your underwear rather than over clothes.
Bust or chest: around the fullest part, with the tape under the arms and flat across the back.
Waist: around the narrowest part of your natural waist, usually just above the navel.
Hip: around the fullest part of your hips and seat, roughly eight inches below the waist.
Inseam: from the crotch seam down the inside of the leg to the hem.
