The Joep men's sneakers earn their character from the details rather than the silhouette. Stars sit on the side panel as the signature mark, thick laces run over the instep for a chunkier look than a standard sneaker lace, and a frayed finish along the edges gives the shoe a lived in, broken in feel straight out of the box. Small star shaped cutouts on the toe echo the side panel detail.
The low top construction is built from several different panels, and the stitching is left visible where the panels meet. That patchwork of materials and exposed seams is what gives the shoe its distinct casual look, and it means the sneaker reads as deliberately styled rather than plain, even in a single color.
Two colorways are available, blue and white, in US sizes from 3 up to 10 including half sizes.
