The Lars winter jacket is built around wind protection, which is the thing most jackets at this price neglect in favor of insulation alone. Cold air moving through a shell strips heat faster than still cold does, so a windproof outer is doing more work than the numbers suggest.
A sturdy, non-elastic cotton blend gives it durability as well as warmth, and the regular fit leaves room to move and to layer. A practical hood and a zipper with a flap over it seal the front properly rather than letting wind through the zip line. Handy pockets and a solid color keep it versatile.

How to measure. Use a soft tape, keep it level and snug but not tight, and measure over your underwear rather than over clothes.
Bust or chest: around the fullest part, with the tape under the arms and flat across the back.
Waist: around the narrowest part of your natural waist, usually just above the navel.
Hip: around the fullest part of your hips and seat, roughly eight inches below the waist.
Inseam: from the crotch seam down the inside of the leg to the hem.
